This is how the NDP goodie bag for 2009 look like. They come in 8 different colours. The ''phone'' you see on the top is actually a torch . There would be many other stuff which come with it.

You don't have to go for the parade to get the goodie bag. You can donate $15 to charity and get the bag.

Holidays Ending and PSLE Nearing

The holidays is coming to an end but PSLE is nearing. In less than 4 months time we would be sitting for our papers. PSLE oral is even nearer. The exams are right on our doorstep. Good news is that once PSLE is over, the next major exm would not be coming for more than 4 years. Just more play and less study.

H1N1 Virus

The H1N1 virus previously known as swine flu is being feared all over the world. Fortunately it was found out that the virus is milder than it was originally feared.It seems to be more like seasonal flu but we should never let our gaurd down and prepare for the worst.
I also heard that singapore already has its first confirmed case of H1N1. The person, probably from America or Mexico has been hospitalized.
On the bright side school might close down due to the outbreak and there would be no school for weeks.I also heard that a hotel in Mexico is giving free stays to people ho have caught the H1N1 virus. Imagine staying at a hotel without paying a single cent just becuase you are sick. Its either a free stay or your life.

Who is my hero?

My hero would be Thomas Alva Edison. Thanks to him we have the light bulb, the most important invention in human history. Without the light bulb, we all would be living in the darkness and using candles instead of light bulbs.
Thomas Edison patened 1093 inventions but his most invention, the one that changed the world would be the light bulb. Without the light bulb not only would we be living in the darkness but we would not have any TV or computer as there would be no electricity.We would not have many other great discoveries.

If I could be somebody else, who would it be?

If I could be somebody else, it would be Albert Einstein. He was one of the smartest humans in history. I would like to see what it is like to be a genius and how it feels like. It would probably be stressful and their would compettion between other scientists but it would be worth it as I would be known by people for my discoveries for generations.

SA1 Is Finally Over

After so many weeks,the exams are finally over!For now.There is still PSLE in four months time.The maths exams were tough.Hopefully PSLE would not be that hard.

Is It Manly For Men to Cry?

Eventhough some people think that it is not very manly to cry,I think its okay.There is nothing wrong if men cry.It is a way expressing there emotions.
Crying is usually situated for sadness but sometimes it can be tears of joy.I hope people don't think that crying is only for one gender.Overall I think it is fine for men to cry.
